BDL HAS PURCHASED GMA BRAKES
Steve Yetzke, President of BDL is proud to announce that he struck an agreement With Bill Gardner , President of GMA, to purchase the Omaha, NE based Brake manufacturer. GMA has been well know in our industry as a leader in brake caliper design and
supplier of first class quality products.
The most well known product from GMA has been their patented “All in One Brake Pulley Combo.”
Bill Gardner announced late last year that he was planning to retire and get. Back into custom car & motorcycle building, his first love. Bill plans to kick back and build as a hobby. BDL will continue making and marketing the GMA line out of BDL’s Orange, California
facility. BDL will market the line as GMA by BDL. |

A - CDAS-300 2-1/4" overall length & zinc plated. Used with all BDL Ball Bearing pressure plates as in BPP-100 and SS-2 2" belt drive.
B - CDAS-100 2-9/16" overall length and dark zinc plated . Used with all BDL belt drives, both open style and closed primary style without Vall Bearing clutch.
C - CDAS-500 2-1/2" overall length with flat surface on un-threaded shaft & black oxide coating. Used with all BDL chain drive applications, both coil spring and Ball Bearing style pressure plates. |

BDL'S NEW Twin Cam - Cam Cover
BDL's New Cam cover is made from 6061T6 Billet aluminum. Designed, precision machined and polished in house, with all of the quality standards you come to expect from BDL. The kit includes the special bolt, cam cover end adaptor and seal, pictured left and below.
This kit converts all Twin Cam 88 engines to earlier electronic ignitions, and can be used with any aftermarket ignition and rotor cup system. It’s great for building customs with Twin Cam 88 engines to simplify the wiring process. You can now wire your bike with all aftermarket Evolution wire harnesses. This kit is for engines with chain drive cams.

IMPORTANT UPDATE AND PRODUCT CHANGE
BDL items EVO-900 Series 3" Belt Drive with Outboard
Support, EVO-3000 Outboard Support Retro Fit Kit
and TF-2000 have been changed.
We have eliminated the front pulley and engine shaft
support and front bearing of the outboard support.
The reason for this change was due to the many
aftermarket components that come together on a
special construction motorcycle, we find that a lot
of these components do not allow proper alignment
of the entire motorcycle.
When using an outboard support that was intended to
keep the front engine and rear transmission shafts
from moving excessively, improper alignment will
cause unusual wear and premature failure of the
sealed bearings.
By supporting only the rear shaft, which is all that is
really needed, we have eliminated any potential
problems that mis-alignment may cause. |

BDL's new "Patent Pending" Ball Bearing Lock Up Clutch is now standard equipment with all of our new 2" drives, and is available as a retro fit with all BDL belt drives with coil spring clutch except our Top Fuel Drives.
Also available for Primo Pro-Clutch belt drive models 1990-2007 and stock Harley 1998-2007. |
